Sweet Potato Slips anyone?

Welcome to Audacious Heart! We are starting our gardening for spring and sweet potatoes are going to be a great addition.

They say Christopher Columbus was the one to bring sweet potatoes back to America around 1492. They came from either Central or South America, where they have been using sweet potatoes for the last 5,000 years in cooking. I am so thankful for this nutritious tuber gift!

Did you know one serving of sweet potatoes provides you with about 4 grams of protein, 65% of your recommended daily Vitamin C, 770% of your daily recommended Vitamin A, 29% of Vitamin B and 27% of Potassium. Sweet potatoes are also rich in fiber and antioxidants which help your digestion and gut health. It's not a bad option to add one serving a few times a week to your dinner menu!

If you have space in your yard at all, there is no better time then now. Stop by your local Whole Foods, or any store that offers organic sweet potatoes and get them in a sunny window. While the potatoes grow ourt srirdrer in you

Do you garden?

If you have space in your yard at all, there is no better time then now. Stop by your local Whole Foods, or any store that offers organic sweet potatoes and get them in a sunny window. When the plants start to grow the crop cover foliage is beautiful! Not to mention in November who's to say how many pounds of potatoes you get! With inflation a save is a save!
